The Movie

Most people don't talk about agriculture much.  They don't think about agriculture much.  It seems kind of boring, kind of old-fashioned.  And if you're like most people, you probably don't know any farmers.  You also may not know many economists, systems experts, or environmental scientists, or know what agriculture has to do with any of these things.

But it turns out, most people do like watching movies.

Beanstalk is a feature-length documentary about the scary state of our teetering global agricultural system, and what it's doing to our health and our environment...  And about the radical solutions now being developed that have a real chance to turn things around and give us a healthier, safe, sustainable future.

The film's completion is scheduled for late 2010, with a public release during mid-2011.  But there's plenty to see, learn, and share right now.  Join our mailing list to stay informed about Beanstalk news, and look around to learn more about the perils and promise of our global agricultural system.
